Coincidence . . . . Hopefully!
Firstly we hear that Tommy Robinson suffered head injuries recently while on a family night out in Essex,
http://
And now we hear an Imam has sadly died from head injuries received when walking home on Thursday night in Rochdale.
http://
If the attacks weren't so far apart you might think there was a connection, but surely the distance is too great isn't it?

Wasn't Rochdale a centre for quite a lot of EDL activity a while back,
I was thinking there might be some old associates of Tommy who heard about the Essex attack and maybe, decided to to something.
Far fetched I know but ... .. .

It's possible.
If that is the case, I am sure the media will hear about it - no point in doing something like that as a protest group if no-one gets to know.

Baldric - //I don't think anyone would advertise doing something like that especially given the outcome of the attack, but it would still send a message regardless. //
I think that is exactly why they would make a point of owning up to it - as an organisation of course, accepting individual responsibility tends not to be the approach of choice for these people.
As I say, terrorism is only effective if people know about it.
