divebudd; I think you are absolutely right, I read that the talks in Geneva - (by a bunch of overpaid suits) are being hampered because they can't agree on whether or not Assad should be part of the future of Syria !!
What they can't seem to grasp is that it is they who have no part in it.
Putin and Assad are doing what had to be done and the likes of the US, Turkey and the UK talking of supporting the "good" opposition have only prolonged the conflict and the ultimate removal of (the so-called) Islamic State.
