Retrocop - in reference to the Chief Constable of South Yorkshire's suspension - //Why has this man got to be the scapegoat and fall on his sword.// It is nothing to do with being a 'scapegoat' - it is to do with being head of an organisation which is revealed to have wilfully obstructed the inquest in its investigations, and continued the entire tragic...
jomifi....I think the Police had no choice but to accept today's verdict....the time for any more lies is gone. When Duckenfield admitted to this Inquest, that he had lied in the previous one, was the time that the Police knew that they had their backs to the wall.
It said on the news a few mins ago, that the CPS were now looking at ways to bring forward charges. Today is only the beginning.
Dukinfield was acquitted a few years ago
and so I think he is off the hook ( except for perjury and other witness offences which I think he will never be indicted for )
Questions the jury was asked to answer after hearing all the evidence.
//Question 7.
Behaviour of the supporters:
Was there any behaviour on the part of the football supporters which caused or contributed to the dangerous situation at the Leppings Lane turnstiles?
Jury's answer: No ??

Are you permanently on mind altering drugs?
Just zip it . Show me where I made the statement you accuse me of . So you are on chemo so what. No excuse. I was on Chemo also. If it makes you bitter ask your oncologist to change the medication. It does not give you an excuse to blatantly lie.Perhaps you are a victim of your own self abuse but which hand I couldn't speculate.
//retro came out last night with: "the fans were drunk every one knows that"
and was nailed by umm/Anne A/ or someone.Old rumours die hard.

As a matter of interest. Apart from the young children who tragically died has there been any reports on the blood/alcohol readings taken post mortem of the adults. It has already been established and admitted by the police commander i/c the policing of this match that he was inexperienced at Public Order management.
To use Mikey's time worn expression, Trying to ask inebriated football fans pre kick off to be compliant is like"trying to herd sheep". The Police made errors but having seen many times the behaviour of Chelsea fans at "the shed" many times in the past I don't swallow the Liverpool fans were compliant, paragons of virtue.
Sorry in advance if that offends but sometimes the truth hurts and it so easy to find scape goats.//
That does not state the fans were drunk. It asks if there were blood/alcohol readings taken. SOP for a tragedy where multiple death occurs but you knew that didn't you? I was given later a link to answer my query by Mamyalynne.
If the link was provided then it proves that it is an obvious procedure to carry out on the victims.
the one I was thinking of
was posted by retrocop - it could be a clone and said.....
( and if you wish to clarify what you meant please re-write - as a policeman you will be used to doing this )
I took it as perpetuating the refuted myth that the fans were possed

If I may stick my oar in - Peter I think what you have done is take //Trying to ask inebriated football fans pre kick off to be compliant ....// from Retrocop's reply and made assumptions.
He did preface that comment with a query about blood alcohol tests PM which was covered in the link.
I think a fair amount of misunderstanding has occurred.
