More scaremongering. Just how desperate is this idiot? Camoron has lost the plot.

Anyone know what time after the election to leave that the sky will fall in?

I'm surprised he hasn't already claimed that the warm weather is all down to the wonderful EU.
@Khandro

The Branagh-narrated series about WWI is uppermost in my memory. They had a go at explaing the causes but the lasting impression I have is that it was practically a grotesque parody of the (later) board game of Diplomacy, whereby lasting piece had been achieved through a complex web of mutual-support pacts. Germany being allied to (Ottoman) Turkey being one bizarre setup with slight echoes in the present day.

Anyway, the Serbs hated being ruled by Austria-Hungary, send in their patsy to shoot the Archduke, the Russians mobilise to support the Serbs, so the Germans mobilise to support the Austrians and the French are allied with Russia, to keep Germany in that two-front vice which has been its problem ever since it called itself the Holy Roman Empire.

The resurgence of Rome is in Revelations, innit? A pity it wasn't a 27-headed beast, eh?

Yes, quite a good name for the EU: The W.h.o.r.e of Babylon.
// No wonder it looks a stupid argument if you make it one. //

yup well noticed Jim
I marvel at some of the screaming non-sequiturs that appear on AB - day after day - with no signs of renewal or exhaustion

I also marvel at your patience in nailing them
If there was any truth in this scaremongering from Dave ( and his gravytrain cronies ) why did he call a referendum ( well I know why really, to try and stop the Tories losing any more votes to Nige ).
Correct, tonyav. It was a last throw of the dice and it looks like he's been hoisted with his own petard. The longer he goes on like this the more confident I am of a LEAVE vote.
So am I, JD.
well I am very impressed with peoples knowledge of the book of revelations

it has been er a revelation to me - I am not sure what relevance ( pun intended ) there is to the situation in Europe in 2016. Come to think of it I am not sure of its relevance to the time when it was written ( first cent AD ) =is there a nostradamus out there who can tell me ?

[ also remarkable is that no one has commented:" four horsemen of the apocalypse - wot wiv dem den ? I cant count that far ..." but I am certain the comment will come ]
I don't see any pun between revelations and relevance.

The particular extract is a prophecy of the corruption in the Roman Church in later times.
Well, I'm in school in Filey tomorrow afternoon, doing my stint in trying to increase reading ages in early teenagers (found an 11 yr. old who didn't know the alphabet last week!) and afterwards I will be off to the Bookies. :)
//[ also remarkable is that no one has commented:" four horsemen of the apocalypse - wot wiv dem den ? I cant count that far//

You can only "count" on one pp..... Death..... War, Pestilence and Famine can be avoided. Now tell me their colours friend.
My dream headline for 24th June is: 'Brexit wins; Cameron resigns!'
Take him (I know it's him) to the bookies with you jourdain. He will read and do the maths.
Oh! I hope so Jackdaw! I think this may have tipped the balance - everything crossed. :)
You are quite right, Togo. One of those scrawny boys that gets overlooked. He's quite bright really, obviously bright enough to cover-up a lack of knowledge. I bet he knows ore than I about bookies' odds- than I do. :)
Typing on stupid keyboard mixed up - sorry.
Oh dear 360 nubestrump. 6th form snigger, that was gone before my last purchase of Private Eye. I will not be adding the site to favs.
Nice try, Jim, but no cigar.
I'm now scared to vote either way, Jim. :)x (Not!)
