More scaremongering. Just how desperate is this idiot? Camoron has lost the plot.

Anyone know what time after the election to leave that the sky will fall in?

out out out out out !
"Either we influence Europe, or it influences us."
Sounds like he's suggesting we leave the EU to stop it influencing us, then invading so we can influence Europe for a change. Maybe he's considering increasing the military's budget ?
And a plague of frogs with blood rain, followed by the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse. If ever proof were needed of a campaign to cow and bully the British people we have it writ large here. Anyway, we always win these European "wars" don't we.
cameron and co will say anything to keep their fat wallets even more full..lets hope referendum time this country doesnt bottle it ...out for me still100%
Dave's arguments to remain become ever more ridiculous - I just hope the voters see through this bluster and vote to get us out of this monstrous organisation.
There's about three misleading things here. Firstly, replacing "could" with "will" is just plain dishonest. No wonder it looks a stupid argument if you make it one.

Even "could" is a bit overblown, and Sky (and probably all media who report this) shouldn't have used it, although I suppose it's a bit snappier than the headline: "'The implied commonality of spirit provided by the EU has played a role in helping to maintain peace on this continent (at least among its member nations), a role that is put at risk if the UK leaves the EU since this could easily lead to the break-up of the EU; while this hardly guarantees that war will follow, anything that provokes or exposes disunity is hardly likely to improve a situation that could well be more fragile, in some areas, than people realise', says PM".

Cameron really shouldn't have been invoking the various historical dates he rattled off either. It sensationalises an argument that really shouldn't need it. He could just have stuck to "what happens in our neighbourhood matters to Britain... let's not pretend we can be immune from [European, and EU, affairs].", and left it at that.
It would be almost laughable if it weren't such a serious issue.
What currently threatens peace and stability in Europe are the events that are unfolding(and have been for the last 2 years) and the collective inability to effectively deal with them, hence the inexorable rise of the far right.

The sooner we're out, the better.

Weasel words jim

So we have to surrender our sovereignty, and make no mistake about it that is the ultimate aim of the EU to stop war.

Hmmm, so what was the point of two world wars to stop the German taking over in the first place?
It's hardly weasel words... and, at least, it's not deliberately misrepresenting somebody's argument so that you can then mock it.

Used in about the same context as you used them the other day!
Did I? When/ where was that?
CHALLENGE.
A challenge to all EU "inners", can you name your MEP? (no cheating).
Also, to those who believe Brexit would leave us less safe, what is the name and nationality of the EU's foreign minister?
The increasingly expansion of the EU is more likely to trigger off a war with Russia.

How would we like it if there was an expansion of countries attached to Russia, knocking on our front door?

I agree with ChillDoubt at 09:02.
Received the Governments "in" booklet this morning, strange there's no mention of war if we leave. Either they forgot to put it in or it's an afterthought, whatever happened it shows an inept and desperate government.
I know how to dodge the question, at least, Khandro -- I don't have "one" MEP, but several. And anyway I think I voted in the South East region last time out, so the ones I have in Scotland aren't the ones I voted for anyway. But no, I don't know any of their names. To be fair, that's because one votes for a party not a person.

Until recently(ish), at least, the foreign affairs minister was Baroness Ashton. Don't think it's the same now.

Don't worry you brexiters .

jim; //To be fair, that's because one votes for a party not a person.//
Really? - surely your vote should be based on more than that.
The EU foreign minister is Frederica Mogherini and she's from Italy - so that should make us all feel a lot safer :0)
Perhaps, but since the EU elects its MPs via a form of Proportional Representation, your vote is technically given to a party and not a person. I don't see a problem with this, but it does mean that it's a little trickier to answer the question about who exactly represents you.

I did, as it happens, look up the answers. Apart from Mogherini, I have forgotten most of their names already.
