Interesting Opinion From A Eurosceptic

Javid expresses my opinion perfectly. There is a lot wrong with the EU but we are better off in. Remember that if we leave the EU but still want our vital access to the single market we have to remain in the EEA (European Economic Area). The same rules of freedom of movement and labor apply within the EEA as in the EU. So we will still have just as much immigration from...

That, should we vote to leave, Brussels would instantly prevent access to the Single Market and throw away trade is just not realistic. If the situation was trade only, as it was first pitched to the UK people, then there'd be no issue. To claim to be an EU sceptic and yet wish to stay, knowing it'd be forever and a day before it became something acceptable, simply doesn't add up.
Personally I think the vote too close to call at present but I won't believe that the UK population will end up throwing away this one opportunity to regain its control and pride and to subjugate future generations to this unelected elite who has no concern for the needs of individual nations. It is clear the EU has massive problems with both national economies and border control. One has one opportunity to stand up and say, "Enough", and surely they have the courage to do so.

So it's much better to go into uncharted waters which we have no idea will be better or worse (with many industry heads and financial figures claiming it will probably be a whole lot worse) than stay as one of the most wealthy countries in Europe who exhibit growth far beyond other EU countries? And if you don't think we're wealthy, then I'd do some research!

And no one knows what new agreement would be reached so suggesting that free movement of labour etc. would inevitably be part of it simply can not be assumed. It'd be a deal breaker and the EU would know not to throw away trade based on some desire to impose foolish desires. They should be more concerned with other members following a UK example and also leaving, since dissatisfaction is not exclusive to the UK.
You see, that's the problem with a lot of criticism the stay campaign is receiving. We've never said that the EU is perfect. But it's certainly not the totalitarian state which some extremists portray it as. Our trade still continues to grow with the EU (it is also growing with not EU countries and slightly faster too - possibly due to the privelidged preference which the EU affords us) so why alienate a whole economic market? We have the best of both worlds at the moment. It would be ridiculous to throw that away to score a few political points.
