Is A Second Referendum Justified?
If the Remain group wins the referendum by a narrow margin, Nigel Farage says that it would be grounds for a second referendum.

One in every seven votes cast in England went to Ukip, and these millions of voters have only one voice in parliament: Douglas Carswell, I rest my case!

I agree, and it's exactly what I want to happen - a second referendum in say 2019 following a tight remain win this time.
The remain camp - i.e. "business as usual", "preserving the status quo", "minimal disruption" - has a big built-in advantage, so a tight vote would be an expression of extreme dissatisfaction with the EU. A second referendum would give the EU a chance to do something about that dissatisfaction and, if they hadn't managed that in three years, I think Brexit would deservedly see a big win the next time around.

//Togo is right....if UKIP is still around in 2020, perhaps TTT will vote for them.//
Ohh not just 3T. Many many more, and if not U.K.I.P. perhaps another party that promises an Independent Britain. See Austria for example, and of course France this very week, where the left refuse to toe the EU party line. This referendum only allows for a healing of the ulcers of discontent that are festering in this undemocratic dictatorship if we vote out. The Remainians, however blinkered now, will have the scales fall from their eyes when the reality of the folly dawns on them.

This is just the scaremongering that we were talking about on another thread. You might believe that TTT, but I don't. "
Gawd elp us, are you blind? It's happening now and will speed up after we have been put on the naughty step! Wake up Mr Chamberlain!
"If the vote is to STAY, then they will have had their chance and failed. " - err you lost me, did you read any of what I wrote? I will vote Labour if they will get us to leave the EU otherwise I will vote Tory. If we vote to stay why would I vote Labour? Sorry I may have missed a bit of ABC illogic!
