But then one could also ask why are these migrants called refugees when one was said to be a Moroccan youth?

The problem is more and more locals in towns and cities across Europe are feeling badly let down by their leaders who have let migrants enter in ridiculous masses, often confined into small areas and expecting everything to be hunky-dory at the click of a finger. Linz, being a prime example. How are these locals expected to react? Why should they have to feel so...

Talbot, //Such safe territory slating the the actions of Germans //
Exactly. That was my point earlier. I don’t agree with rioting but saying the answer is in the ballot box, as some here have said, isn’t the answer. There are instances when the electorate have to make their dissent clear otherwise nothing changes.

The reports we hear about such as this one is tantamount to the tail wagging the dog and one that isn't permitted to bark to boot.
If the roles were reversed and a German was being provocative and disrespectful in a Muslim country he wouldn't last five minutes.
There are an increasing number of migrants who are behaving abysmally to their hosts, standing on cars, waving and taunting, challenging to fights, groping at women etc etc.
In the face of such provocation the locals are expected to be tolerant and benign and just wait for the voting slips to be sent out that may not have good enough adhesive for the envelopes.
Rioting may not be the answer but Frau Merkel's ill judged move has blighted the standard of living for huge swathes of the country. It is a complete travesty and gross incompetence that this situation was allowed to happen.
Of course, daring to suggest anything like this runs the risk of accusations of being a far-right sympathiser. This is complete nonsense and is none other than a stark realisation of the reckless policy inflicted on a once stable society which is fragmenting before our eyes.
When are European politicians going to get a grip on reality? It is staggering to see poor decision making that is threatening once flourishing and stable environments.
Where will all this madness end? No time soon that's for sure.

ag, superb post! Very, very well said - but it’s not only German society that is fragmenting. The whole of Europe is on course to self-destruct.
//When are European politicians going to get a grip on reality?//
When indeed, but more to the point, why does reality elude them? What is their purpose in doing what they’re doing? I can’t believe this utter stupidity emanates from altruism. They must know that the majority of people claiming to be refugees are no more than economic migrants. It simply makes no sense.

Thanks! People like Merkel were voted into power and trusted to serve the best intentions of the country. It would be simply wrong to say she just got it wrong (a fact which she would deny). It's political suicide.Supposedly highly intelligent and yet somehow forgets that there is a red light as well as a green one.
You're right of course, the domino effect is rippling across Europe affecting countries like Sweden.
I don't know why they are doing what they're doing Naomi but by the time the game is up for them the damage will be irreversable.

Yes, it would be very wrong. It makes no sense that the best interests of her country are very clearly not her priority. I really wish someone who supports the madness of uncontrolled immigration (and there are several here who regularly wring hands over the thousands of alleged persecuted escapees) would explain to me why it’s justified.
Fender, Hijrah is one word for it.

When you take a statement like that,it is breathtakingly surreal. Who in their right mind, in such an eminent position, considers a policy of uncapped and uncontrolled immigration would work and would not have a damaging effect in towns and cities up and down the land?
It is utterly preposterous. If the welfare of migrants and the need to resettle them in vast numbers is greater than the stability of the German people then I think we have an answer with regard to where her priorities lie.
Just how serious does the situation have to deteriorate before this calamitous policy is realised?
The finger of blame does not point at the far right or German citizens, it is directed completely at the architect of this disastrous and reckless state of affairs.
Merkel has well and truly sealed her own fate and deserves nothing but condemnation.
