Mikey, no one has said Hitler was ‘nice’. I’ll help you out here. ‘Committed’ means ‘dedicated’. Now do you understand? No? Thought not.
As a person, no but as others have pointed out to you they see his nationalism as something that IS to be admired. He's sincere in that, just not in other facets of his political persona.

I too admire nationalism.....but too many wrongly see it as jingoism.
Not content with constantly repeating that Farage is a 'nobody' and that UKIP only have 1 MP, the attention switches to James.

Mikey, you are really clutching at straws with this one.

I posed a question recently on here asking if James was fit to lead the party based on an article which equally clutched at straws in a poor attempt to find as many skeletons in the closet to denigrate her.

Farage stated she was the only realistic person to take over the reins. He did a great job, so his recommendation should be a reliable one.

mikey; //.the day that anybody says anything nice about Hitler on AB, is the day that the world has finally gone mad !//

The last European country to put a complete and total ban on fox hunting with dogs was Germany, and you know who initiated it? Yes, him! :0)
He isn't sincere in his 'nationalism' as already suggested.

I'm tending more to the 'she just wants headlines' idea myself ...

Meanwhile,
Hitler was dedicated ... to digging holes ... deeper and deeper and deeper lol
He was a lazy *** by all accounts: wouldn't walk more than a few yards without asking for a car to pick him up.
Now, lazy at least is not a criticism I'd level at Vlad, what with all that judo etc

You either admire Putin or you don't don't Chilli.......Diane James clearly admires Putin, otherwise she would not have mentioned him. There is nothing whatsoever to admire in Putin.

I am not in any way going to be led down the road of debating the finer points of the English language. If James had left out any mention of Putin, the rest of her comments wouldn't have caused a stir.

But in true UKIP style, she opened her mouth without thinking.

Mikey, //I am not in any way going to be led down the road of debating the finer points of the English language.//

That's exactly what you should be doing because your comprehension of what is actually going on here is abysmal.

I'm going to leave you Putin-admirers, as a nice curry awaits !

Well deserved BA by the way anneasquith !
She doesn't understand what's going on here either.
(Scratches head and wonders how on earth posting a link about another of Putin's little 'achievements' helps the case of the UKIP leader!)
Of course, we all know that political extremists tend to be drawn to dubious places, %%%% although, as an aside, on the right wing it seems to be genuine hero worship in the cause of 'strong leadership' whereas on the hard left the position is more by default: 'Putin ( so they reckon) sticks it up the US and the west so they make excuses for him.

%%%%What do Sunday morning pulpiteer Peter Hitchens and Corbyn spin doctor Seumas Milne have in common? Apologists both for the annexation of Crimea (and countless other things no doubt)
Mikey > But in true UKIP style, she opened her mouth without thinking.

You have awarded a BA to Anne but if you read the first part of her answer it is at odds with what you stated above!!
(Scratches head and wonders how on earth posting a link about another of Putin's little 'achievements' helps the case of the UKIP leader!)
___________
Not sure if that's aimed at me but I'll respond. I'm not helping the case of the UKIP leader, I'm pointing out mikey shooting himself in the foot over his feigned outrage at her comments when the leader HE admires is a far bigger admirer of and apologist for Putin.
So Chill, all these posts about Jeremy Corbyn to put Mikey on the spot. Forgive me if I put YOU on the spot: you do admire uncle Vlad or don't you? He, after all, was the original subject or part of it.Not Corbyn and his tribe, whom we all know are lets say slow to criticise him (I don't agree with Ukraine Today that Corbyn is actually pro-Putin, tho not so sure about some of them)
Nor of course do I believe that Diane James is either, as such.

But you seem to be the one doing the 'deflecting'
Actually don't answer because I know what you'll say: 'of course I dont agree with him but ..' the way people used to do, somewhat inexplicably for me, with Thatcher
