Do you find the general silence 'truly perplexing'?

There always has and always will be a huge divide in Islam between the Shia and the Sunni. They hate each other far more than they do Christians.
I couldn't quite follow Douglas's point. Is it that there's not been a lot of fuss on social media about these two murders? They've certainly been on the news, at least the first of them
It's not actually 'islamophobia' of course but then he knows that he's just bring artful :-)
I don't follow Twitter obsessively so maybe that is why I am not getting it

@ ichkeria

From link:

"Perhaps their problem is that this wave of attacks does not consist of people writing nasty and mean things on Twitter, but of Muslims killing other Muslims and still other Muslims extolling such killings".
Muslims killing or attacking other Muslims due to differences in the branch of Islam they support to is NOT Islamophobia !
Do we often read about christians killing/attacking each other ?
'Politicians and commentators across the political spectrum'
They're the culprits :-)
It must sometimes feel very lonely being Douglas Murray faced with that :-)

There's a word for this, when you feign surprise like that: 'irony' or 'sarcasm' don't really cover it

@ Eddie

Murray uses the term Islamophobia twice in quotation marks.
Why should any person on this earth have to put up with the brainwashed liberal PC garbage. If you're worried about the spread of the evil intolerence of a backward cowardly corrupt cult that pretends it is a religion and is continuing its passive invasion to breed out or kill those who they see as the infidels then that's perfectly fine.
Alternatively ignore them and apologise to them and tell them you are their friend. See where that gets you, athiests are the future, easily converted so less of a threat.

So the Islamification of the UK is ok with you then Dot?
Any belief that women are not allowed in heaven only men, and that men go to heaven just for an orgy is off its rocker.
@ DJHawkes

What kind of orgy would it be if women were not allowed into heaven?
//athiests are the future, easily converted so less of a threat. //

Easily converted? How do you work that out?
Silence surrounding crimes - and anything unsavoury - involving Islam seems to be permeating across the board. Yes, truly perplexing.
"What kind of orgy would it be if women were not allowed into heaven?"

Well, I'm no expert mind, but I'd say a gay one. Allahu etc.

@ DJ Hawkes

Atheists, in my opinion, are more unlikely than not to be moved from their beliefs.

Even if they were easily converted, you would have to persuade them that Islam above all the many religions was the way forward.

Naomi > Silence surrounding crimes - and anything unsavoury - involving Islam seems to be permeating across the board. Yes, truly perplexing.

Despite some news coverage, and as Murray suggests, you would have expected a much more vociferous response from certain quarters.

I wonder why this should be the case regarding the 'religion of peace'?
ag, that claim from DJHawkes is one of the most bizarre I've ever read here. Truly bizarre!
Question Author
Naomi, it must be the Trump factor somehow!!
Must be!
