Davemano......I agree with your comments entirely.
I brought this up a couple of years ago and was in the main shouted down and the Editorial team kicked it into the long grass.
However......some people need BA as it boosts their egos as they really have done nothing much in their lives and AB BAs make up for this.

I don't as I did say "some" and i base my comments on being a student of human nature and behaviour...an amateur, ....but interested.

I don't have an issue with BA. The issue is when people are choosing who they think the BA should go to.

This is primarily a Q&A Site so BA's make sense when you are in a category that will identify a helpful or correct answer to the question - if someone else has the same question it highlights the solution for them -

outside of this, i think they are irrelevant.

maybe it should be changed from best answer to correct solution (or something similar)
