Labour are finished Mikey, Mr Farage done that !
Orderlimit....go back and do the arithmetic......now its time for The Archers !
Is Farage really a politicion ? is he a holder of an elected office, has he been elected for a position in UK politics ,or did he elect himself?
Last I heard he was an elected EU politician and used to be/is leader of his political party to boot.

Mikey, seriously, you will blow a gasket once too often!

gulliver, I’m curious to understand how you can possibly congratulate people on what they’ve written when, apart from perhaps having seen Mr Farage on television, you have no idea who he is.
It would be smooth transition from Brussels to the House of Lords.
And Farage has had plenty of practice at filling in expenses forms for being on Committees and not attending any meetings. He'd be a natural.
LOL @ Naomi at 19.09
Gromit, if that's true - and I don't know that it is - he'd be in good company.
D/B I did mean UK politics not E/U, but then he has shot himself in the foot with the MEP gravy train , that is why he is sucking up to Trump, and also grovelling to Mother Theresa, to be a Liason Officer between UK and USA .
Gulliver, the only way Farage has shot himself in the foot is to render himself redundant. After Brexit his job will no longer exist.

mikey the number of MPs is not the only measure, last time Labour did anything useful was 1948, Farage with 1 MP has forced a referendum and won it, achieved his political aims and saved us all from tyranny all without ever setting foot in the commons. Have you not an ounce of admiration for those achievements? Lord Farage is about right I'd say, he'd shake those Turkeys up too!

Yes DB and managed to get 1 MP ! ( actually, he's only been Leader for a few weeks, since the last one had a fit of the vapours, after only 18 days)

TTT....forgotten all about 1997 then ! Labour stuffed the Tories in opposition for years.
Sorry D/B.
Gromit, 19/10 Spot on Gromit!.

how could I forget His Tonyness but what did he actually do that was useful?
Mr Farage attended only one of 42 meetings of the fisheries committee on which he sat for three years. He missed 60% of EU parliament votes. Being a member of a committee entitles him to additional expense claims.
House of Lords, just clocking in entitles a Peer to a £300 a day allowance, and then they can walk out 5 minutes later.
What oh!
What ho! indeed. Nice work if you can get it - and I hope he does.
