I don't think I've ever used the word stupid when referring to leave voters on here. If you voted for sovereignty Cassa, then a large part of the sovereignty is respecting the law. Parliament is sovereign and the Govt cannot use prerogative powers to overdose legislation enacted by parliament. We weren't told this before we voted. It also has to be remembered that the result was pointed out before we voted to be advisory, not mandatory.

I think the Tories will need to form another coalition to get a working majority after the next election. I also expect the Lib Dems to have 20 or so seats. Your guess is as good as mine as to who the coalition partner will be!

Betraying the people by creating a so called "soft Brexit" which is remain in all but name and rights, will lose far far more support than any achieving what they should would do.

It's just more fear spreading by Tory remainers to persuade the Tory government. Everyone can see that: its blatant.

The mess is entirely made up from the remainers faffing around with semantics and bickering to make the process as painful as possible.

If IT were just about trade it could be dealt with relatively easily with WTO rules and then negotiate but for some reason that isn't good enough. Remain want to spend as much (some say it will be more as a punishment) on the single market (with less overall benefit to the UK) as we pay now.

The single market isn't the be all and end all. The rest of the world is also outside and awaiting.
