I was somewhat skeptical about man made climate change until I went to the British Antarctic Survey in Cambridge and saw their graphs and data.
Basically the Earth balances output and adsorption of natural CO2 very nicely, but there is a small but significant quantity of manmade CO2 that is outside the equation. This amount is small (1 to 2%) of the total but as it is not 'balanced' by absorption it gradually increases in the atmosphere.
That is what is driving global warming.

Of course, Eddie. The man-made CO2 (4%) is totally different to all the rest (96%). A 10% change in the other stuff (9.6% of the total) can be accommodated (because such changes often occur) but a 10% change in the man-made variety (0.4% of the total) introduces fears of planetary meltdown.
Brexit has occupied our minds for so long now I've almost forgotten about Climate Change. On the whole I prefer Brexit :-)
