OK, so IMHO religion is the root of most evil but lets forget that bit because what I am trying to understand is why there seems to be one rule for one and another for a certain other religion we all have to bend ovcer backwards to accommodate?

fiction-factory, not with you. You said you understood what he meant. Not to worry if you don't.
Nice try
fiction-factory, not 'trying' at all. I have no idea what he's talking about.
I agree with bednobs. I was just trying to help answer naomi's query about Z-M feeling naomi had fallen into the trap. I think the thread ran its course several hundred posts ago as the thread changed from being about the facts of this case to opinion- and as we have been told, opinions can make posters look silly if those opinions differ from a particular set of opinions
fiction-factory, //Z-M feeling naomi had fallen into the trap.//

Ahhh, is that what he meant? Right. Can’t see the logic in it, but there you are.

//as we have been told, opinions can make posters look silly if those opinions differ from a particular set of opinions//

Who said that?
We appear to have wandered away from the subject somewhat, which I find is happening quite a lot these days.
Ron, it's always happened and always will. It's the nature of discussion.
Thanks for the support from those who offered it.

As to the advice about taking a breath and all that, as always I take no notice of advice that is unqualified and not required - otherwise I'd have given up years ago.

So - can we get back to the thread now?
Is there anymore to say?
I don't know, I don't make those decisions - I also don't decide who needs to take a breath, who is being silly, and similar schoolmarmish nonsense that crops up on here.
Thanks ff. I thought Naomi would have been able to work it out.
