When you had this fight, was it the law that prevented you from sitting in a particular seat because you were the wrong colour?

Was Trump responsible for those police killings?

/// If none of the protesters claimed that he was, then the question is moot. ///

So why were they protesting?

You went to the trouble to explain why those other groups joined the protest, but you fail to tell me why the families of those killed by the police were present

Some of you are so impatient, why don't you give me time to explain? I have other posts to read and other posts to answer, I just can't be at everyone beck and call at the same time.

/// I think some of us need to know the circumstances where your race presented you with difficulty in drinking from a water fountain - because as far as I can recall, we've never had that level of segregation in the UK. ///

For starters, my race was never in question, or the fact that I had difficulty in drinking in a water fountain or anything about a certain level of segregation in the UK, all this is just twisting my words, and neither was it was not all an off the cuff remark.

Initially I was asked if I had to fight for a special seat on a bus.

Not actually 'fight' in the true sense of the word but 'argue' as one who is disabled and needs a specific disabled seat, in which a none disabled person is seated.

Then I was asked did I ever drink from a water fountain, the plain answer was yes in my childhood days when they were a feature in most parks and also in spa towns.

Finally I was asked have I ever rented a house, the answer was yes, before I finely bought my own.

There not too difficult is it, unless you belong to the type as one who gets a perverted delight in twisting one's words out of all proportion.
Unbelievable.

Oh dear it would seem that the pack have run home with their tails between their legs.
Actually you were never asked if you have to fight for a special seat on a bus you were asked if you had to fight to sit where you wanted on a bus.

Which is entirely different and you know it.

Why don't you just admit your issue with these protesters is that they actually have a right to do this!

No we just don't have all day to wait around for you to answer the questions you have been asked time and time again, like some cheap slimeball politician you avoid it time and time again!!

As much as you try to be pedantic, it is exactly the same.

The special seat is exactly where I wanted to sit.

You really must try harder, you are being so pathetic.

Unlike you who just sits at your key-board waiting to take your turn so as to type your Troll like remarks, I myself have a multitude of others to respond to.
Whilst it would have been unpleasant to have to argue to get someone to move from a disabled seat on a bus, I am not sure it compares to being handcuffed, arrested and put in gaol because of your colour.

And who has suggested that it is?

I might as well have put:

I am not sure it compares to being thrown off a high building because they happen to be gay.
When losing a debate resort to name calling and one is sure to win!!

AOG I am not going to respond to your snipes and name calling and if the Ed considers me to be trolling then he is free to ban me.

I await his decision not yours!
When the talk was of American civil rights and having to fight for the right o sit in a particular seat on a bus you implied you had experience of that . It turns out that it was a disabled seat on a bus, a seat you ALREADY had the right to sit on so you were not in the wrong. The impression given was that you had experience of the discrimination black folk go through whereas in fact you were asserting your already established rights. Those that had fought to sit on a bus had been handcuffed, had been arrested and had been thrown in gaol.

I am in no way losing the debate, on the contrary I suggest that I have won it hands down, I have proven than rather than debate with me on the subject in hand, some have chosen to bait me by making up and twisting words and statements that I myself have never said or put.
AOG, likening not having the right to sit anywhere on a bus and being denied your specially designated seat due to someone wrongly sitting innit just demonstrates your inability to perceive what discrimination actually is.
