It seems nearly all of them are liberal lefties, why is that? Is it because they are usually wealthy so they feel guilty and feel they think it shows their caring credentials?

Talking of brains, who but you would go to the trouble to copy and paste the whole contents of another's post, a whole 12 lines of text containing close on 100 words, so as to enter 2 and a bit lines of one's own unfunny humour?
I've no idea, and I don't really care either.

Really, one has got to ask WHY?

Or was that "tongue in the cheek also"?

Come on Dave you asked the question so what is your slant on this?
i find the OP curious in a way....

//Why Are So Many In The Arts And Music Industry Lefties?

It seems nearly all of them are liberal lefties.....//

We don't get to see or hear from a huge number of those who work in such industries as the Arts and Music - there are thousands of jobbing actors, back room staff and people in the Music industry we never hear from at all.

It's not surprising to me that those we do hear from are vocal, it's their stock in trade and they have confidence borne of drama training.
^ I
Not all people in the arts have had drama training Mamya.

Correction then....

For training I meant experience, sorry if it was too obtuse.
Not in my experience.
You don't think working in Drama instils confidence?

It does for most in my experience.
It was a reply to DB, Mamya not you.

Because it will make one laugh out loud every time one reads it.
RandyMarsh - speaking personally, I was fully aware of the political views of all the musicians listed, with the exception of Joey Ramone.

The rest make / made no secret of their affiliations in interviews.

Simple things, amuse.............
Thanks Andy.
AOG - I know you have a Pavlovian need to respond to everything I post on here, but there are other people for you to needle, annoy, irritate, fall out with, and generally cross swords with - please don't feel you have to restrict yourself to just me ...

imagine how confusing this particular post would get if anyone who had a comment to add copied and pasted it before adding their contribution?
Talbot - indeed.

One has refrained from C & P'ing one's post in the hope and belief that not adding one's text to the text one has already posted, referring to one's previous post, will ensure that one will not confuse one with one's desire to ensure that one's post and one's reply post, referring to one's original past, will not confuse one, which one would be seriously keen to avoid.

One hopes that's clear to one, but if one wishes to reply to one concerning one's above missive, or indeed any of one's other comments, one is always pleased to hear from one.
