Trump has mooted this idea about financing this ruddy wall. He wants Mexico to pay....they say they won't.

So his next thoughts are that he may impose a 20% import duty on stuff coming from Mexico, like TVs for instance.

But if is to be successful, then its the American people that will be paying that extra 20%, not Mexico itself ! If people refuse to buy any more Mexican goods, then no moneys will be raised to pay for the wall.

Either way. Mexico won't be paying !

Trump is yet to tell us how he intends to make American consumers pay for everyday things, that are now imported and cost considerably less.

I think it is far too early to talk of PT 'delivering' on his promises. The trade restrictions have yet to show any results at all, and not one brick of the famous wall has appeared on the border.

He may 'deliver' - but we have to wait and see.

To be honest I'm getting bored with the constant knocking of Mr Trump (and Brexit) especially since the same tired old rubbish is wheeled out time and time again and no one is actually willing to look further than their own blinkered left wing media fueled ideologies.
