Perhaps people can remember the CH4 documentary that was aired last June, in which it seems that Bert Spencer incriminated himself. I though he was about as chilling as its possible to be.

I saw that and agree Bert incriminated himself.

I thought the program was the most disturbing one that I have seen in a very long time. Those eyes still haunt me.

I always have difficulty in posting CH4 links....can someone else have a go at posting a link to the original documentary please ?

Thanks Tony....this is on Youtube, but not the one that CH4 transmitted last June. ( although Spencer featured in it ! )
Ah well, maybe someone else will have more luck than I did finding the channel four link, mikey.

I seem to remember we had a long discussion about this, after the transmission last summer.
Yes I remember that thread, mikey.

Looking back at the comments last summer, I am more convinced now than ever I was then, that Spencer killed Carl.

Hopefully the cops will nail him, mikey.

We must be careful not t confuse and conflate two different issues, the miscarriage of justice and the who killed Carl.

There is now no longer much doubt that a serious miscarriage of justice was allowed to be done. Which leaves the question of who did kill Carl ?

As anyone one who watched the documentary last June will attest, there are now serious grounds for reopening the case, something the Police should have done as soon as soon as the Bridgewater Three were released from prison.

Something they very clearly didn't do, nor want to do, as it would have exposed serious concerns over the Police's part in the original miscarriage of justice.

My J'accuse still stands.

He's the Welsh version of Emile Zola, didn't you know?
I’m pleased to hear that.
They were bad lads, but I’ve never thought they killed Carl.

‘Bad Company’ by Paul Foot puts forward a lot of potential evidence that, had it been heard in court, could possibly have resulted in a not guilty verdict.

Only cousins Michael and Vincent Hickey still alive now.
