This is a response to the fact that female hormones from birth control pills are entering the water supply. Ladies take them and pee out the residue which goes into the sewage system and then back into the water supply. There is no way to remove the hormones from water / sewage so over time the levels just build up.

TTT it is a real problem but so far a small one! Female hormones do cause loss of fertility in men .

I remember reading about this a 'few' years back - it's not news and doesn't seem to have been treated as a priority by the govt or whoever.

Water is the main ingredient in beer douglas so if there are female hormones in water they are in beer as well!

This has just reminded me of a true story. Many years ago I was going to a job interview, I did not know the name of the person I was to see.
The receptionist asked me to wait, a few minutes later she came back and announced 'Mr Limprik will see you now' I had to bite my tongue trying not to laugh at the name.

I suggest that what may affect fish, who live in water, and transferring that effect to humans who drink water, who are many times the size, and have vastly more sophisticated physiology, is rather the same as saying that if you glance at the sun, you will go blind.
