You cannot be serious!
Last year, my friend was stopped by security guards and cautioned by the police because she had a pepper spray in her bag at Wimbledon. I dread to think what might have happened if the new rules were in place then.

We are going to Wimby on Mon. I hope she hasn't got a replacement pepper spray. [I'm sure she hasn't. It was a bit of a nightmare]

Is your friend a seasoned visitor to 'Wimby'? ;-)

Yes she is, ag :))

What bothers me is that her husband could easily have put the spray in his shirt or trouser pocket, and no one would have known. Not that he would, of course. My friend only had it as she was worried about being attacked while out walking or jogging, and she forgot to take it out of her bag.

pepper spray?

The law is very specific,
and is laid out in Section 5(1) (b) of the firearms act 1968.

if you are gonna break the firearms act
why not go for a kalashnikov ?

[No... please Baldric]

You just don't get it, do you Peter?
I know, PP. we were stunned when my friend was stopped and cautioned. She is a 70 something year old woman, with no previous. What did they think she was she going to do?
She had also taken the spray in in previous years but it hadn't been noticed.
