I find that closing my laptop and going for a brisk walk makes troublesome trolls disappear into thin air and when i come back i have the educated knowledge at what lurks within and know what i'm getting into and there also is the option of using the other several billion sites which exist.

If I did, and I read something hostile to me, I am sure i could solve it by the age-old pre-internet solution - which is to turn your head forty-five degrees to the left or the right (your choice).

If you can`t see it, it can`t upset you - or is that too simple?

Talbot - you are probably right, but as I have pointed out before, when this subject has been discussed, the AB started back in 2000, when `social media`was not the catch-all concept it is now, so it feels a little odd to me to think of it that way - but it`s really not that important, so if people want to say it is social media, that`s fine by me.

Just because you and a couple of other people `decide`that the AB is social media doesn;t make it a fact set in stone - it`s just an view.
