Are you Australian?
You are missing something pastafreak. As I have said, it is an exaggeration to make a point.

An oft, and accepted, tool in debate
There were quite a few 6' 4" fella's in the tranny arms (aka jimmy's bar Sint-Jan Nepomucenusstraat) in Bruxelles. it was rumoured they had a hod stand rather then a brolly stand. Once Pascale came in a bitt OTT to which my mate commented 'Oh My God' Pascale replied by showing his big hairy Ass and *** much to the amusement of al!

But this person is simply a racist and one wonders as to the purpose of the trans gender. is it simply publicity seeking rather than the Pascals of the World who simply feel that way and just get on with life?
I'm going to show what many people will consider (incorrectly) my prejudice, by saying I really struggle to understand why people insist in referring to a him as a her or a her as a him when it is quite patently obvious what they are.

I generally put it down to a need to appear to be so achingly right-on.
The strnge thing is, if you are in a bar like jimmy's the question does not arise. No one gets offended either way.

As you say, it seems to be the right-on crowd that take offence. From my experience ordinary people just get on with their lives, hetero/gay or trans.
He sounds a right one. So non-white folk can never be sacked for racist remarks because to do so would be racist ? BBC should've had the sense not to give publicity to such palpable nonsense.
Atalanta@ 20:41. Not so Ata, I read today, by someone who may know, that common sense was not a concept that was recognised by "social services" and was indeed to be opposed.
That is probably because common sense does not equate with the liberal left mantra.
I find it slightly weird that some people (Jim) appear to be more concerned about how this person is addressed than the fact "she" is an out and out racist.

Perhaps it's me....but I know which I find more offensive.
Let me just straight out answer that one: I see them both as offensive, but the racism is obviously a lot less controversial and I generally avoid threads or discussions where it's some sort of outrage circlejerk. What's the point? It's a silly person saying a silly thing, and there's no point wasting any effort in saying so in ever louder ways?

Issues about transgenderism and gender identity, though, I deeply care about and always will.
Jim, //the racism is obviously a lot less controversial//

Many would disagree with you. You dismiss it astonishingly lightly.

//Issues about transgenderism and gender identity, though, I deeply care about and always will.//

You put a frock and a wig on and get your boobs out of a box and then claim to identify as a women but you have no idea what it’s like to be a woman so therefore, you can only possibly identify with other men who do similarly.
This isn't about me or my identity, and I'll ask you to drop that subject from now on please.
Jim, You began this conversation by telling me I should respect this model by referring to him as 'she' and ‘her’, and you've continued the theme. I'm simply responding to you. If you want it dropped, stop talking about your perceived gender identity and stop expecting others to empathise with it.
Yes, I know that I started it. I'm just now trying to finish it -- or, at least, my own personal role in it. I don't "expect" anything, if it comes to that. I want to stand up for what I believe in, is all.

As it is, you still don't seem to understand my own personal experiences and identity, but there we are. I did try to make it clear.
I don't support this woman in what she has said one little bit, but some of the comments about transgender people are appalling.
I thought you wanted to drop the subject Jim?
I did ask for that, but seeing as how Naomi carried on I did want to try and counter her post, especially where it was simply wrong.

I don't have any plans to stop standing up for what I believe in, but I do think that discussing my own personal life has run its course. But if people bring it up I'll respond.
Jim....well said....you have my support.
And mine. But I admit to being puzzled by your request to drop it and then saying you will discuss it with people.
Zacs....I think Jim has explained that. The person responsible for this constant barracking from the side-lines should know better.
