Even without this latest episode, I find it difficult to imagine some in the establishment welcoming Ms. Markle into the fold.

I doubt Ms. Markle has spoken to anyone without Harry's knowledge and approval.

It may be they both neither seek or care about the approval of the Royal Family and its acolytes - he may be the first of the modern royals to live his life outwith the ludicrous constraints on his personal freedom that are endured by his brother.
