anne, most of my first five years on AB were spent on office computers. Viewing porn was banned (I didn't do it and never saw anyone else do so) but management were unconcerned at the thought of staff broadening their knowledge (or just playing patience) as long as there was nothing else to do, which was often the case at night.

GROMIT's figures are from 2014 and last year there were 113,208 ATTEMPTS to access porn sites. There's an automatic block on these and various other categories of websites.

There's about 8,500 computers linked to Westminster's network and the attempts include folk who used the wi-first network as guests.

That means the total is about one attempt per month per person.
