Stop Press !.....tory Rebels Defeat Pm Over Brexit Vote
http:// www.bbc .co.uk/ news/uk -politi cs-4234 6192
"In a blow to Prime Minister Theresa May, MPs voted to give Parliament a legal guarantee of a vote on the final Brexit deal struck with Brussels"
I was a REMAIN supporter, but I thought that one of the reasons that people voted for BREXIT, was to bring back control of our affairs to Parliament ?

Although I think it was tabled and won on the back of career politicians having a hissy fit and thinking they could push their own agendas, I also think it makes a clean break Brexit more likely.
How many MPs and ardent Europhiles Remainers, of any persuasion, will think ((a minimum of)) £39b + all the other add on costs and the extautionate cost of the sheitiest trade deal possible is worth a yes vote?
The trade deal will be looked at in minute detail and the pros and cons worked out in ever decreasing and widening circles. And although there will inevitably be conflicting opinion it will be a loud shout that if the MPs look to be ratifying a sheit deal they will be lynched and they know it.

Cassa...the amendment that was passed yesterday will only make sure that Parliament has a final say on how and when Britain leaves the EU....not if we leave or not.
I have said this before but this brings back control of the event to Parliament, not a bunch of Ministers, and I can't see that is bad in any way.

You have never quite got the hang of how negotiations work have you? There are two parties in this one cannot dictate to the other, although I must admit with Theresa the Appeaser the EU is having a good go.
I actually have no problem with this and I never really understood why May just didnt put it in place. This kick back from the so called 'rebels' was politically motivated to give TM a kick up the backside, in the long term that may well be a good idea.
Remember this also works both ways. If The Appeaser gives away too much then that can be stopped too. all this nonsense about giving the EU th upper hand is rubbish, if anything they should now realize that just because spinless arch remainer May capitulates it now means it is not done and dusted.

More support for my contention that Brexit will be a non event and nothing will change.
