As readers may know, I believe every person and all companies have an absolute duty to reduce their tax bill to the absolute minimum required under the law. This is an outstanding example of that and is especially gratifying since it reduces their liability from one of the most odious taxes of all.

It's not flouting the law. There's nothing in the same-sex marriage legislation that says the participants have to be homosexual. In just the same way there is nothing in mixed-sex marriage legislation to say that the participants have to be heterosexual.

Morals go straight out of the window where money is at stake .. I'd say it's not a marriage as such, but something we all hear at one time or another .. 'Inheritance tax planning' at it's best.
Good luck to them and I can see the floodgates open and hope they do. The government get more then enough out of us in a lifetime.
