^ Really? All I remember of the hunts were that someone got the brush which was a trophy and the rest was binned.

I'm ambivalent about foxhunting as I've never see one, but I understand from film I've seen that the "tearing to pieces" is done in seconds by the pack which is ahead of the hunt and hardly anyone sees it, to enjoy or otherwise.

Piece of string, Rob....it will depend largely on how "good" and experienced the whipper- in is.

237....I'm surprised my other posts haven't told you that riding with a hunt is not something I'd ever lower myself to do.....but I live very clost to the Pytchley Hunt....know folk who hunt....follow and one who breeds dogs for them.

I have knowledge, 237.....and as I'm sure you know, I don't need first hand experience to have a strong opinion about hunting any more than I need first hand experience of husband beating, murder and drink driving to have strong opinions about those.
