I can't repeat his comments here on AB, but they are all there for people to read. Not made in private but in the Oval Office, in front of other people.

Is this really the kind of language that we would expect the POTUS to be using ?

It is quite possible to be a billionaire and a moron, DD. Especially when the core of one's wealth is inherited. As I've said before, Trump is a member of de facto nobility rather than a self-made entrepreneur. - No, this kind of uneducated language is not the kind we should expect from the President. But it is exactly the kind of language we can now expect from the...

The earthquake was in 2010

Haiti has been un-rebuilt for seven years - The interior ministry does not think that its job is to rebuild
I think the interior minister thinks his job is to look spruce and drive around all day in a fast car.

how did somalia get into the list of shith0le african countries ?
More anti trump fake nooze ?
and how did Capt Phillips feature he was at sea most of the time -
or was he captain of a ship of the desert ?

so many questions
Last night there was an idiot radio presenter on LBC radio and he was inviting callers to phone in on this subject of Trump's words in the Oval Office.

But he stated he particularly wanted anyone who was brave enough to defend Trump to phone in the debate, he invited them by saying "if you are both Racist and a Bigot please phone in.

Such a kind and none bias invitation, don't you think?

This presenter then went on to describe his honeymoon spent in one of these African countries that Trump had described as sh1tholes", saying it was a lovely country, wonderful countryside and mountains and full of different wild animals that he saw when out on safari, and the people were wonderful. I bet he stayed in a 5 star hotel, and was waited on hand and foot by these "wonderful people"

No mention of how the real natives of his chosen African country lived their lives.
you're saying it's not the country but the natives who are ****holes?
Kromovaracun

Read what I put:

"MOST" of these countries are literally "sh1tholes"

I made no reference to Haiti whatsoever.
He may not got an invite to the wedding but Obama probably will. Oooh that would HURT!!
It’s been suggested actually that that’s why he’s flounced
Peter Pedant; And those Somalis, what lovely people.
This thread does seem to have turned into a bit of a love-in for people who take sincere and great pleasure in looking down on countries with extremely troubled histories and lower levels of development than our own and venomously calling them sh1tholes.
I thought this debate was about the quality of the language used by Trump, not the accuracy of it.
.If Trump wasn't the subject of so much unnecessary vitriol I doubt I'd bother to defend him much, if at all.

They reason like the speaker of Voltaire's lines: Cet animal est très méchant; Quand on I'attaque, il se défend!

nice to see a three hundred year circle on AB

"If Trump wasn't the subject of so much unnecessary vitriol I doubt I'd bother to defend him much, if at all"

Surely nobody should be defending Trump at all ?
Peter Pedant

Only replying to the usual suspects, mikey and the media mainly, they said he did.

Since we weren't in the Oval Office at that time who knows? But it is always best to try and defend the underdog, when the pack are baying for his demise.
Donald Trump is not an underdog... If anyone, the refugees he is bullying are underdogs.
""If Trump wasn't the subject of so much unnecessary vitriol I doubt I'd bother to defend him much, if at all" "

I can't be bothered checking who said that, but it sums up what I always say about Trump supporters: they may not like him, but they hate the people who are appalled by him.
Trump can't really lose on this (until the election): the more you snarl the more criticism you get, and consequently the more you can wag your finger at the critics and their fake nooze

That's racism.
.// I thought this debate was about the quality of the language used by Trump, not the accuracy of it.// bhg

nope
// A bit like it's disgraceful to say anything that's deemed politically incorrect so we all shut up. The fact is they are.// someone

with the right-on 'it is true' brigade - 'tell it like it is !'
I am surprised that no one has repeated the language used in the House of Lords the other day:
"and I quote, and please my Lords forgive the unparliamentary language, and block your ears if you are sensitive or easily offended, ‘fracking Tory c++t’,” she said." Lady Potty Mouth about Ealing Central
about the usual suspects on AB
for them to reply- well we are !

[ Note that was a joke by the way - to point out the difference between Trumps foul mouth over Afrikee which is apparently acceptable to some and other language in another place [er AB that is!] which might not be ]
"But he stated he particularly wanted anyone who was brave enough to defend Trump to phone in the debate, he invited them by saying "if you are both Racist and a Bigot please phone in.
"

I agree - that is also idiotic and doesn't help
