Remember You Read It Here First (Possibly)
Now even the Germans are daring to state the obvious;
"Islam does not belong to Germany. Germany is shaped by Christianity. This tradition includes work-free Sundays and church holidays and rituals such as Easter, Pentecost and Christmas.... My message is that Muslims have to live with us, not next to or against us." — Horst Seehofer, Germany's new interior minister
"Many Muslims belong to Germany, but Islam does not belong to Germany. Islam is at base a political ideology that is not compatible with the German Constitution." — Beatrix von Storch, Alternative for Germany (AfD)
Is it not time for the British government to make similar assertions?

Spathy; //Why is Islam not acceptable where as christianity is?//
Oh boy! well firstly there can be no comparison because Christianity is a religion pure and simple on a par with others, but Islam is a political ideology with a small amount of religion tacked on to it.
The cunningness of it is, that if you criticise the ideology (Sharia law, desire to world domination etc.) you are told you are attacking the religion and you are a "hate-speaker" or even a racist. I think many people are now waking up to this and are starting to call this bluff nonsense.

>>>I understand the terrorist aspect.. but terrorist attacks don't happen every day, or even every month.
Oh that's all right then.
So you are saying the fact that 52 people were killed and 700 injured in the 7/7 London bombings is OK because it only happens now and again.
How pathetic.
Sadly this country (maybe even all of Europe) is heading for a civil war between the Muslims and the rest, purely because the Muslims are not prepared to rest until they have turned us all into their way of thinking.
And the more they try the more right wing groups will spring up.
I can soon see a situation where right wing groups across Europe start "getting their own back" against the Muslims and we may see some mosques and other Muslim buildings attacked or blown up.
Tolerant Europeans cant only stand so much.

It should be a fundamental right to worship your God in your own way as long as it is compatible with the moral code of the society you are in. The issue tends not to be with moderate members of a religion but those who haven't been able to advance beyond a religion's more violent early years. The emphasis must be on the beliefs and actions of individuals or groups not who fail to act in a civilised manner and blame it on their religion, not on the religion itself. Germany can not expect to have Muslims and not a moderate non-violent version of Islam for them to belong to also.
