Meghan Markle has outlined her feminist credentials and declared her commitment to gender equality. Is t right that a member of the British royal family - who’ve traditionally stayed right out of such issues - should be allowed to take such a stance? Have the senior royals made a huge error in allowing her such freedom so early on in her royal life? Are they fearful of saying no to her already, in a similar way to political correctness strongly affecting the U.K. as a whole? Is this the direction the monarchy - who are unelected, let’s not forget - should be heading in?

There's more to Meghan than her stance on empowering women, it takes only a little research to find that out.
Would you rather have a president like Trump, good luck to the and hopefully old stick in the muds will wind up in the tower.

/// lol now you are sounding like a little child 'they are a lot like vegans' !!
I suggest you go and grow up a little before trying to hold an adult conversation again! ///

Yet another vicious attack on a fellow ABer, by a person supposing to speak on behalf of grown-up adults.

Perhaps this person should learn some adult manners, which it is obvious her parents did not teach her.

Before any Mod deletes this perhaps they should have first took notice of this trouble making ABer's posts, which constantly injects nastiness into debates.
Not everyone has the patience of a Saint and goodness knows dear Spath tried all of our collective patience yesterday.

/// Spath, you've had a go but now you're floundering - take a breath. ///

Perhaps you should attack your 'sister' for what she put, before attacking the recipient of her bile.
He was floundering and waffling and off topic and in he went round so many houses he must have met himself coming back.

I only have two brothers, you may be confusing me with someone else.
I would be honoured to have mamya as a sister - but alas its not meant to be - perhaps more a mother figure?
Oi!! How very dare you :-)
lol you know me - i dare a lot!

I'm not particularly interested in rehashing yesterday's debate. Still, I understood that this was supposed to be a thread about Meghan Markle, rather than about Spath, Islay, or another other AB member.
As I stated yesterday, Meghan is about more than that, it is what many have homed in on but a bit of a look round will show she has a wider interest in the World and humanity in general.

She is in a good position to add her voice to many causes.

Correct, I shall refrain from repeating but felt the need to reply, especially to a post with my name in it.
Humanism should go without saying, and generally does, but Feminism is similar to the black lives matter campaign, it's naive to think it's not necessary because we don't have full equality yet, however much we might like to think that we do. Of course we should all be nice to everyone equally but some of us are more likely to be discriminated against because of our gender than others. Peace folks x
Peace and love Kval and Mamya peace and love xx
