City hall have given the green light to a crowdfunded blimp depicting an angry Donald Trump throwing a temper tantrum in a nappy, meaning it will be flying over Parliament Square on the day of his visit.

Do you think this is a valid piece of satire or do you think this should have been disallowed so as not to annoy the President?

Could be that trainees from Space Force are dragooned in to sabotage the looming inflated eyesore.

I doubt they could be convinced to act against their president though.
I see no mocking from you of Khan's behaviour, Krom, which leaves much to be desired. Why is that?

I think you have a very tame definition of 'vitriol' Naomi.
It is utterly pathetic and the people delighted by the prospect are equally pathetic.

Morons.
I think not. Spite is spite.
All witch hunts, Naomi, or just the ones not started by the Donald and his cabal of massive brains?
^That to Krom.
when Obama came to Windsor his weird helicopters flew over my site.

how can I write "welcome Trump" over my fields?

//I see no mocking from you of Khan's behaviour, Krom, which leaves much to be desired. Why is that? //

Because I don't follow his activities very much. He just seems like a bland tedious nobody to me so I don't pay much attention.
I bet most couldn't give a legitimate reason for disliking Trump so much, when we have hardly heard a bad word against other leaders with a much more reason to be disliked.

But forget his boasting of female conquests etc, I bet underneath the real reason includes the word 'MUSLIM'.

It’s an analogy.

Bullies exist outside school.

I just don’t think this is an appropriate response to Trump.

I wish those who disapprove of the visit organised a campaign of silence.

No protest...nothing.

Just silence.

That way, Trump-lovers would be happy because there are no protests, and the ‘protesters’ could do somethingmore valuable with their time.
kromo; "If he can't take that then he should not have run in the first place. " - come on be honest, you'd be pebble dashing the screen with organic peace muesli if we did the same to St Mandella when he visited! Trump won't bat an eyelid, I'm just embarrassed for our nation.
Douglas, all witch hunts. What Donald and his cabal of massive brains have decided is beneficial to their country - I'm guessing that's where you're going with this - has been decided because it's felt that's what's best for the country. That is their decision. Donald Trump's hair, wife, clothes, speech, ancient history, are not relevant to his presidency - and yet no stone is left unturned in condemnation of him. Not one.

As I recall, there was plenty of whinging about that on AB at the time. I can assure you, my screen stayed perfectly clear of organic peace muesli...

In fairness - doesn’t the same happen to all politicians?

For instance, was Hillary given an easy time by the political right?

Macron?

Merkel?

Khan?

Blair?
Krom, //Because I don't follow his [Khan’s] activities very much.//

Well, since you appear to be endorsing this activity, perhaps you should.

Sp, //In fairness - doesn’t the same happen to all politicians?//

In fairness – no it doesn’t …. but I think you know that.
krom @ 1704 - Indeed there was
"The central paradox of modern witch hunts is that those who claim to be the victims are often the ones most enthusiastic about carrying them out."

I know a deeply entrenched position when I see one but have a read anyway.
naomi24

Bizarre.

Almost certain I’ve seen seen extreme criticism of those on my list.

Perhaps I misinterpreted.

Ne’er mind.
