I have no problem with anyone taking two and two and making twenty-two - I do think that clarifying that are making an assumption based on your own view of the situation (I wouldn't use the word 'experience' either) is more appropriate than trying to come on like some pipe-puffing beard-stroking guru on matters of terrorism,
