I agree, making the Burka compulsory would stop all these misogynistic gestures irrelevant so that one wouldn't be able to see or investigate the feminine attractiveness. Good idea.
Men wouldn't allow women to fight in the wars, AOG...
'Women and Children first' whilst supposed to illustrate the nobilty of the male to lay down his life for the female and the progeny of the species has very few (if any) examples.
// Men wouldn't allow women to fight in the wars, AOG... //
historians amongst are keeping quiet about the American Civil War where women served in the front line for the first time ( rather than cross dressing as men - see napoleonic wars)
and in the Red Army 1945 - I means they are on the newsreels for chrissakes
but hey yeah no woman has served ..... it is after all a normal day on AB
/// You know as well as I do, that in terms of occupying lifeboats on a sinking ship, women and children go first because men are physically stronger, and more able to survive in open water. ///
Didn't a British woman recently spend 10 hours in the Adriatic Sea at night, after falling from a cruise ship?
pp - I'm not saying no woman fought in the wars; I'm rebutting AOG's tired old assertion that 'no woman was conscripted or forced to lay down her life in the same way as the man in the street' because of the very fact that male-dominated society said that they couldn't.
"...This will include so-called cat-calling which means whistling at or yelling at a person in a 'sexually suggestive' manner...". Why should this behaviour, or misbehaviour I suppose, be labelled as a hate-crime? Surely it's more akin to a crime of passion:)

Just shows how protective males are towards the female of the species, more than can be said for those ladies that handed out insults and white feathers to all those chaps not in uniform.

I think you must have scraped through into the top of the barrel below by now....
/// So? historically women wore garments that would make them sink ( usually at men's behests. Crikey don't be so sorry for yourself all the time. ///
Who's sorry for themselves certainly not me, but it certainly seems that some female ABers are.
Blimey with the amount of material in those dresses and petticoats worn years ago, a woman could jump from a great height and not injure themselves, never mind keeping afloat in the water.
