'Real men' are not afraid of 'offending the wimps', 'real men' are comfortable being manly but polite and respectful of everyone around them. It's really not that difficult.
I'm referring more generally to the fact that dictionaries need updating every single year; in a very real sense, all dictionaries are out-of-date as soon as they are published.
That doesn't necessarily affect the word "woman" yet, but its usage is potentially changing to something that encompasses gender identity as well as biological sex. If that trend continues, then at some point dictionaries will perforce need to recognise this usage.

Gender is no longer regarded as biological.
Sorry but that is profoundly preposterous. Piers Morgan made the point to that ridiculous couple, Fox and Owl (who are only in it for the money) that he ,Piers, wanted to self identify as a black woman. Is that any more or less daft ?

I think it's dubious to begin any point with "Piers Morgan said" such-and-such a thing anyway, but leaving that aside, you (and he) are making the classic mistake of finding deliberately extreme examples to represent, and therefore undermine, the more typical case.

But, he does make a very strong point. I like Piers, tells it like it is. Some great youtube stuff.
