If they are then it's a vile and dangerous thing to have done - wicked.
I cant believe anyone would give out E tabs to children- not without charging them for it first! Those things aren't cheap, and no, I don't speak from experience.
B00...they are very cheap now. More dangerous though.
Really? But still, can you honestly believe these things would be doled out like....well, sweeties, for nowt?
I haven't a clue how much they cost - and I wouldn't recognise them if I saw them - but if that's what they are it's a terrible thing to do. Sick.
Let's see what the analyst's report says first.
I just can't believe someone would risk a child's life.

To a dealer those pills are probably just as expensive as sweets.
Slightly off thread, but relevant. It did occur to me while pondering what to do for treats that I could make some mince pies, sausage rolls, or cup cakes. The problem here is what if they get food poisoning ? So it is potentially dangerous for kids to accept stuff for consumption willy-nilly. The fact that in the case in point that it was deliberate is of course criminal.
Thats if the story is true, anything for attention in this day and age. 10 mdma pills would have a street value of £50-£100.. can’t imagine a drug dealer to dish them out for free.
In an evelope.. ?
spath, how do you know that?
It was in that documentary No Offence, Naomi. ☺
I wouldn't recognise an Ecstasy tablet if I tripped over one. Clearly the mother does. I live a mile from where this is alleged to have happened and I can tell you that there are some strange folk living there.
//I wouldn't recognise an Ecstasy tablet if I tripped over one.//

Brilliant, JD.
Just realised 'trip' has two meanings. LOL.
Naomi, i’m more street wise

But seriously, who gives out / takes envalopes, why not a baggy or sweet wrapper?
Hmmmm, you sorting out the grass for someone's taking on a new dimension, spathiphyllum. :-P
Hey... it’s TTT’s OP that suggests drugs are the “treat” aspect of trick or treat
It would appear that there are some nasty people out there.
Yet when I relate the experience of my late sister in Canada,a teacher in Huron Heights High school in York County Ontario a certain ABer almost implies it is not true and doesn't happen.

//In all my years of trick or treating in Canada and the UK as a mum with her children and now as a witch behind her door I've never known nastiness. //

The principle of the School always instructed the students at morning assembly to be aware of the dangers in trick or treating on Halloween morning. My sister was not prone to fantasies .
Nasty practices have been well known in certain areas of N. America and would now appear the trend follows over here. :-(
