He's been appointed by UKIP as an advisor on 'grooming gangs and prisons'

/// A consultant who doesn't know what he's talking about. Umm ///

Ah! But he does know what he is talking about, I'll wager he knows more about prison than you do sandy, or am I wrong?
Question Author
Judging from his 'form' it's likely he knows a lot more about prisons than I do.
Still, I'm not sure that qualifies him for a consultants role.
Sandy, I've always thought of you as a fairly level-headed sort of person, but on this subject you seem to be rather unhinged, and I wonder why that is?
Question Author
"Unhinged" seems a bit strong.
I'm saying I think he's not qualified to advise on prisons or anything else.
UKIP likely know that the publicity this has generated will do them no harm.
Ta, mamya.
You're welcome, it's one I grew up knowing - whether it sits here is another matter.

People can study penal issues for a lifetime and still not know what it's like behind bars, he may be the best they can find to advise - I really don't know.

Unhinged isn't a word I'd use to describe Sandy's machinations.
// Good choice. He knows what he's talking about.//

erm if he did - he wouldnt have been caught would he?

[I know about bringing up kids - all 12 of mine died] a sort of o god normal day on AB moment there
Unhinged isn't a word I'd use to describe Sandy's machinations.

nudgescuffling is a word I'd use to describe Sandy's machinations...bless him.
This thread is bordering on the antics of a funny farm. Andy-hughes thinks Tommy Robinson’s exposure of grooming gangs has made no contribution to society, and Peter Pedant, confused as always, is being Peter Pedant.

‘nudgescuffling’ is a word I’m’ familiar with but since I didn’t become involved in a former Editor’s disruptive and unfunny nonsense, I have no idea what it means. If, however, it relates to winding people up, then I agree that sandyRoe’s machinations are designed to do just that. Always have been.
Question Author
Not so, Naomi. My innocuous question about the bird Robinson has done was designed to prompt people to muse on the merits of bringing a crooked, self-serving, thug into mainstream politics.
I don't doubt it.
This " crooked, self-serving, thug" was to trying to expose gang rape, while "decent" people, many in the child protection services (very similar in moral attitudes and pretensions to the Sandy Roes and MamyaLynnes of AB) were trying to keep the scandal quiet.
I'll tell you what; If we were up against it, I'd feel a lot better sharing a slit-trench with Tommy Robinson, than some AB pussy-cats.
Khandro, what's a "slit-trench"?

And does a man of sensitive disposition like me want to know?
///I'll tell you what; If we were up against it, I'd feel a lot better sharing a slit-trench with Tommy Robinson, than some AB pussy-cats.///

You could make babies together
I bet Khandro’s been up against it a few times.
As a young man I learnt a lot from reading personal harrowing accounts of life and death in places I had never previously heard of.
Treblinka,Buchenwald,Dachau,Sobibor, Matthausen,Sachenhaussen, Auschwitz,Drancy.
On reading some of the posts on this subject it would appear I wasted my time and like some here I should dismiss their experiences as fiction and followed the David Irving route.
What better way to learn than from those who have been there and experienced it ?
