the school sent a letter to parents - headteacher Trevor Bowen said: "The safety and welfare of students is our number one priority and I can assure you that this situation is being taken extremely seriously." yeah right Trevor. doubtless the school has an anti bullying policy but I bet they don't follow it. a lot of schools quietly tolerate bullies as they keep the school population in fear and QED easier to control.

Bullying in the playground is not new. But it does become a cause celèbre when the victim is Muslim.

The search for pristine Muslim victims (i.e. "poor things, what have they done to deserve this, what has any Muslim, cheap avocados apart, done for you?") is Stockholm Syndrome.

Despite your unfounded accusation, no assumption is necessary, only acceptance of the obvious conclusion. Once in a safe country, moving on changes their status from refugee to migrant. They have no need to migrate unless it is economically beneficial to them. Denial of this changes nothing. No sensible discussion can be made until such obvious basic truths are accepted.
