I'm not sure it is official yet.
BBC news doesn;t say that, it says may be postponed.
that was 10 minutes ago.
Gawd knows. I've given up thinking about what might happen.

I don't quite see the point though. It seems to be just delaying the inevitable. At least if the deal had been voted down we could have moved on to the next stage, whatever that might be,
If May postpones it in the hope of swaying the Brexiteers she will have a long wait. Not only is she a despot, she is a coward. Time she went.
i confess to being confused by this, if its called off, what would be the point, if many of her party don't want this deal at any cost then surely they must vote on it.
Actually the longer she delays and pontificates time elapses. The date of our withdrawal draws closer and eventually no time is left to change things. So no deal.

However any delay, with the fact the uk can unilaterally stop Brexit, will be manna from heaven for some.
Perhaps it gives her time to return to the EU and beg for scraps !!
which one hopes she doesn't do. ^^
She probably thinks if she can get close enough to the March deadline, people will be so scared of a no-deal situation, they'll vote hers through out of desperation.
Apparently she was phoning round this morning - a conference call from the cabinet room.
Extraordinary. If this is true, I'm dumbfounded. I just can't see what possible good cancelling the vote would do. They've already been found to be in contempt for parliament. Is there a mechanism for parliament to force a vote?
March deadline is still 3 and half months away.. what can she do now.
Not caving in again is she ? Well at least this time it's not to the EU.
(If she delays long enough we'll fall out of the EU anyway, and that'd solve the issue.)
Vote off according to U S news.
Ah, man, I'd booked tomorrow off and everything!
what next, perhaps she is going to stand down as leader.
that would be a good thing to do, let someone else take up the slack.
jim
there was no need if indeed you did take the day off, the vote wasn't due until 7pm. think you are playing about...
Emmie //perhaps she is going to stand down as leader. //
O,would that that were true.
This is becoming embarrassing. This will destroy what little credibility she had left.
