It doesn’t work like that.
There used to be a major problem with racism in football, and it is a good thing that clubs fight against it.
The reason naomi24 doesn’t get the semantics of racist insults is because in the cold light of day, we can deconstruct the sentence into it’s constituent parts, but that ignore intent.
Let’s say a bloke went up to a large, red-headed girl and in front of her boyfriend loudly said, “She’s fat and she’s a ginner”.
The boyfriend may well step up to defend his girlfriend’s honour.
He wouldn’t sit her down and say, “Well, listen - you HAVE got ginger hair, and you COULD lose a few pounds.”
The intent goes beyond the words.
