As with all 'matters of conscience'. ..... If you don't agree with it...... don' t do it. You don't agree with Abortion? Don't have one. You don't agree with 'gay marriage'? Don't get 'gay married'. Allow those who are making their own personal decisions the freedom to do so, and certainly don't try to restrict someone's rights based on the supposed utterings...

Ric.ror, in some circumstances an abortion is essential to save the woman's life. I wouldn't want to grow up knowing that my birth caused the death of my mother.
In other circumstances an abortion is essential for the woman's mental well being such as being a victim of incestuous rape where the baby could also have abnormalities.
In an ideal world all pregnancies would be the result of months of planning and anticipation between two loving and committed adults and all babies would be born healthy.
Sadly we don't live in Utopia

Again Ricror I don't think anyone is 'rejoicing' the demise of an unborn baby, they are celebrating the emancipation of a woman and her right to choose what happens to her body.
Personally abortion would never be the right decision for me as an individual, but I fully recognise that it is absolutely necessary for some and so I support the right to abortion for other women. x
