ABers ridicule the inordinte mount of gun deaths in the US of A ????.

Sorry state of affairs retrocop and I wish a solution could be found. London seems to hit the headlines (maybe because of the numbers) but this is happening all over - we had a murder in Dundee in the early hours of New Year's day. Apparently an argument over a taxi!!

Rockrose has a point, so often anything you do say is pulled apart.

If you answer as I have , which is the first word that springs to mind, then you are seen as not adding anything or stating the obvious.

I have no solutions to crime, it would be great to think that every street could have a Police presence 24/7 , this case happened at 3.30 ish in the morning - but that will never happen.

Life for murder should mean LIFE. No half sentences or they can ask for parole! They should be kept in solitary and made known how dire that is. There is no deterrent today, nothing to make these scum afraid of the system! You won't cure anything like this, prevention is the answer but it's IMO too late. We have let the wrong people into this country, bringing their culture and way if life to dictate to the indigenous people.

Only my opinion, but as valid as the rest one would hope. Too far gone....we cow tow to foreigners and give them power over those born here.

C'est la vie....we saw it coming, no one listened and we reap what I those who chose to sow!
