An honest, "Remainer," would say, "For short term gain, I am prepared to give up forever, my ability to vote out the people who rule us, and give up democracy, where the rulers are servants of the people, and see it replaced where the people are the servants of the ruling Commission."
I think it is wrong.

At the last European Elections, UKIP did fantastically well and had 24 MEPs elected.
Since then, there has been no bye-elections, no MEP resign, no deaths, no one quit. But UKIP now have just 7 MEPs.
UKIP voters have seen 17 of their elected representatives, change party.
They still take their huge pay and pensions, but they no longer represent the party for which the voters placed their x.
Fortunately, all that will endon 29th of March.
Unfortunately, the 7 UKIP MEPs will also losetheir income, so the party will shortly go bankrupt as a result of Brexit.

If the March 29 deadline is extended beyond the date of the European elections in May there’s talk of existing UK MEPs being allowed to keep their seats in the interim.
Nigel Farage does a good patter and I quite like him but he was trounced on BBC last night by a trade expert who explained why WTO rules are NOT good for the UK.
