Absolutely horrific. I still don’t understand how the dad heard her get out of bed earlier and he then put her back, but he never heard this boy somehow get into the house, go upstairs into her room, lift her out of bed, back downstairs and take her outside. But guess we will never know. Her poor poor family : (

His claims of a relationship with his fathers girlfriend and all the claims relating to her involvement in the little girls death etc are quite beyond my comprehension. A very unusual mind that boy has. So so sad.

Can't believe such a horrific crime took place on this lovely island, but I suppose it could have been anywhere. My heart goes out to the family of Alesha. Rest in peace little lass, fly with the angels.

On BBC Radio Scotland this morning, papers petitioning the court to have restrictions lifted so the beast can be named.

It might sell papers but other than that serves no real purpose, it will change nothing.

It might help to ensure he's kept inside. If nobody had known who the taxi rapist Worboys was, the parole board would have let him out by now and no-one would have known.

Quite possibly Ludwig but I think that temporarily suspending a law so that the Daily Record can sell more papers might not be a great precedent.
