Tommy Robinson has had his facebook and instagram account terminated. Facebook says he has continually violated its community standards with hate speech against Muslims.

Is you use social media in ways that violate their policies around organised hate then surely you're a bad person?

With people like TR,the danger is that he is condemned on each and every one of his perceived transgressions and reputation.

Funnily enough, quite recently, I read that Facebook were introducing a new rule that held posters responsible for the replies they received. Not much chance of anybody abusing that rule, lol.
It's doubly amusing because when Zuckerberg was in front of a Senate Committee last year, to explain why IS and various hate groups were allowed on Facebook, he said 'We're not responsible for content, we are not a publisher, we are just a platform'

He had no more role in Tommy Robinson being removed from Facebook than you would have in me being removed from AnswerBank if you reported this post. He can claim it, but it's really nothing to do with him. It's Facebook's decision, and they acted on what was there - not some report.
