Whilst David Lammy asks why the rum wasn't Jamaican.

/// Reacting to Ms Abbott's apology, Tottenham MP David Lammy tweeted: 'Jah Rastafari! Why was the rum not Jamaican?' ///

Always best to keep it in the 'family' eh David?

Have you a link AOG?
I’m intrigued.
Sounds like a fascinating non story there if only we knew what it was :-)
Nothing wrong with good old Cornish rum: Jamaica Inn’s finest :-)
Link?

Of course we could do it but we didn’t put the question up
She didn't apologise for taking two seats.
Trains around here sell alcohol, so it's hardly the crime of the century.
I'm blocked from seeing Lammy's tweets. And I've never even spoken to the Tottenham Turnip.
I assumed Lammy was joking about the Jamaican rum.
They probably don’t sell Jamaican rum in M&S anyway.

Oh I know how to use google sweetie but you posted in news therefore should have the decency and common sense to post a link.

Typical from the Guardian report:

/// The therapist and writer Philippa Perry said: “Oh mate. We’ve all done it. ///

Mss Perry, no mate we have not all done it, at least those of us who are law abiding.

/// A mental health campaigner, Sam Thomas, said: “Why should you be sorry? We are all free to the freedom of choice. If you choose to drink on the underground, it’s fine. Meanwhile, for the serious crime that it isn’t, far worse atrocities are being committed.” ///

It is not 'FINE' Mr Thomas, it is unlawful, and is it all right to throw down litter, spit on public transport, spit out your gum on the street, let your dog foul the street etc etc?
After all far worse atrocities are being committed.

/// One person wrote: “I’ve never felt more represented,” while another said: “Babe, live your life”. ///
all standard stuff the the Abacus, do as I say not as I do!
