/// Never occurred to me because, well, mind not diseased. ///

/// 'Soon as those good enough to point out it's possible connotations got in touch, down it came. And that's it. ///

Why did he need for this obvious racist insult to be pointed out to him?

Lucky Donald Trump or Tommy Robinson didn't do it. No rubbers on ends of pencils would have erased that!

I remember the comedian Al Read whose catch phrase was "Right Monkey".
Spath--- there's no point trying to say anything constructive to you. As we say up here --you're 'full up ant door's shut.'
How is talking out ur *** constructive?

You're saying a generation of accepting people is raising a bunch of racists.

It makes no sense.
society is changing its perception on race, sex, gender etc..

It's not a case of, a load of Lancashire oldies are very tolerant and the youths are all racists so the youth of society must be less tolerant of other people.

Makes 0 sense.

Oh then you must be one of those who are offended on behalf of other's, keep up your good work.
I'm not offended. I'm highlighting racism.
Racism is offensive no matter what colour you are, and it's something i don't want in my society. People of a prestigious position should be held to high standards. I'm glad Danny has been fired. It shows these standards are actually respected.
danny danny what a baker..

It is correct to say that many (actually, let’s be honest and say ‘the overwhelming majority of’) white people are offended by racism.

They are not offended ‘on behalf’ of someone else. They are offended that, in a white environment, racists tools assume that they Are ‘like them’.

Normal unbigoted white people don’t want to be associated with filth. They don’t want to be seen as being in the same bucket as the pond scum.

In that respect, they are honourable people.

There is a tiny minority of white people who are okay with racism, because they are morons.

However, they are very noisy morons.
Thank you for sharing that SP I find myself agreeing with your perspective. I also find myself in objection to Danny Baker because i don't wish to be associated to that kind of ignorance. Which is similar / the same to the pond bucket analogy, if Danny Baker meant it or not.

AOG - you saw fit to level an accusation of hypocrisy against me earlier in the day, and I responded - can I take it that you now agree that your accusation was unfounded?
This bigot is paid £300,000 plus a year by the BBC. His sacking is not before time. Unfortunately he’s been around for so many years earning an absurd level of wages, he’ll not suffer from his racist tweet. He’s never liked Scots, hence my support for his expulsion from broadcasting. He’s a bad egg...the cleanest description I can come up with...
AOG - // AOG - you saw fit to level an accusation of hypocrisy against me earlier in the day, and I responded - can I take it that you now agree that your accusation was unfounded? //

That was yesterday, and still no answer, so I'll take it that you regard your unpleasant accusation and unfounded, and withdraw it.
AOG - perhaps you missed my last post?
I took the time to search through Danny Baker's twitter and the only time he appears to mention blacks is when he has noticed that they have been once again underrepresented on his TV.

Yeah...he's a true racist.
