Why did he need for this obvious racist insult to be pointed out to him?

Lucky Donald Trump or Tommy Robinson didn't do it. No rubbers on ends of pencils would have erased that!

AOG - // It is not a pointless side track, because it highlights the hypocrisy of some ABers like yourself.
But tell us all, would your posts on this been entirely different if Donald Trump, Tommy Robinson or Nigel Farage had Tweeted this photo and comment?
Just as a matter of interest you understand? //
Firstly, 'what if's' are universally pointless because they go nowhere - but I am intrigued as to where you believe my 'hypocrisy' lies?
I have not defended Mr Baker in his action, any more than I would have defended President Trump or 'Tommy Robinson' - he has behaved like an idiot, and compounded that behaviour with arrogance, and I have stated as such.
If you can see hypocrisy in my position, feel free to point it out won't you.

So what did DB mean by this image? Really I don't know. Could he have been having a dig at Harry and Meghan over their secrecy regarding the birth of their child? Was he saying despite you wanting privacy you will soon be parading your child around showing him off in all his different outfits? Like still happens in some countries where monkeys are dressed up and paraded on beaches to earn money for their owners by having their photos taken with tourists. And I'm not suggesting that is what they are planning on doing OK. Was that what DB was meaning?
Good glad he's been sacked. It was at best a hurtful, unfunny, ill thought out post likening the Royal family to trained chimps and at worst absolutely vilely racist. I am truly sick of people who can't just seem to be nice when a nice happening occurs and let's be honest little Archie cannot possibly have offended anyone in his short life, and then when you call them on it proclaim that you are somehow deficient in humour or intellect. Stuff him, glad he's gone.

andy hughes, he accused objectors of a lot more than not having a sense of humour. "Diseased minds" is a serious insult to throw at your audience, and if the BBC don't want their audience insulted, I can't blame them.
How is he insulting the BBC audience?
I agree with him on diseased minds (or more like conditioned minds)...I never for a moment linked Meghan Markel's ancestry to the picture. Obviously, plenty (including some ABers) did.

Page 4, i think you know what we're talking about here.
If Danny didn't mean the tweet, then it demonstrates how easily white people can fall into expressing racist sentiments even if they don’t mean to.
You not noticing the ancestor aspect and the fact there was a chimp on the screen also demonstrates how easily white people can fall into expressing racist sentiments even if they don’t mean to. Someone of black heritage would have spotted that from a mile out.
As i said, The first royal with a hint of black heritage and some famous idiot decides to compare him to a chimp... Only a utter fool would do that, innocently or not. Do we remember the recent H&M tshirt incident?

There is a massive difference between being intentionally provocatively racist and saying something in an ambiguous context which you didn't realise might be taken as racist and then apologising and being horrified that it had been taken that way.
Had I been stupid enough to post something and then world pretty much as a whole says 'you racist twonk' I would have instantly apologised profusely, explained what I did mean when I posted it, taken it down and apologised a bit more. I wouldn't have called everyone who commented 'diseased of mind' and implied it's their problem not mine.
