This time the attacker was rightly arrested, but I wonder why Tommy Robinson's Asian attacker was never arrested, or do I need to ask?

Come down the valley's, splat, and bring your milkshake with you. We like a laugh.
The fact is, your cowardly mates are only doing this to people you think won't/can't retaliate.

//"The bile and the racism he spouts out in this country is far more damaging than a bit of milkshake to his front."" //

but where would you draw the line? a bit of drain cleaner in his face? a bit of machete damage? a bit of a gunshot to the back of the head?
mushroom, don't tax their brains with intelligent questions.

notwithstanding a common theme on this thread that it was "just a bit of milkshake", the perpetrator has been charged with Common Assault and Criminal Damage.
http://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/crime/the-man-who-threw-a-milkshake-over-nigel-farage-has-been-charged-with-assault/ar-AABFKX8?ocid=ientp

notwithstanding the charges, it does appear on this thread that saying something perceived as racist is deserving of retaliatory action. so I'll ask again.

on this occasion, "just a milkshake". but where should the line be drawn? how far can the defence "just a...." be taken in defence of what the police have now decided is assault? "it's just drain cleaner - man up Nigel!", maybe?
prosecute & seek costs. Earn a police conviction to restrict employment!
"but where would you draw the line? a bit of drain cleaner in his face? a bit of machete damage? a bit of a gunshot to the back of the head?"

I think i draw the line at luke warm beverages.
Milkshake being compared to machete and guns.. imagine if this was UMURIKA
Mushroom ,comparing milkshake to drain cleaner is futile. Get over it, it wasn't an acid attack. If you feel so sorry for nige, go give him a cuddle.
Jesus - this is like reading a load of school kids posting.
What a constructive contribution to help aid discussion.
Nothing left to construct really Spath - the thread is now a demolition site.
//comparing milkshake to drain cleaner is futile//

i'm not comparing. i'm asking where reasonable observers might draw the line in the pursuit of fighting racism - what is acceptable in their eyes? does the fact that it's a fight against perceived racism transcend legal boundaries? just asking.
There is, we can discuss this line Mushroom wishes us to draw to make it clear that drink beverages aren't comparable to domestic cleaning chemicals.
Mushroom, my line is luke warm beverages.
Bloody Hell Spath , Think I had better stop agreeing with you, Think we have been attacked by the Conservative Cavalry.
I'm not part of a "Conservative cavalry"... but I am surprised at any adult condoning assault as a valid reaction to hearing something they don't like or towards a person they don't like. Throwing drinks is not valid communication (if you are over 2).
