Good Luck on your endeavours. I wonder how easy it is, for his family, to get good Life Insurance that does not include Terrorist Acts. :-(

Don't 'bite off' a whole country at one go, spath. Start small in, say, Tower Hamlets and let it spread out from there.

Retro, try realise the angle someone is coming from before showing AB what a sadistic converser you are.
^ That's just negative, man.
There's an old expression up here: blethering skite.

Question Author
You consider other ABers input as claptrap and do not appear to wish converse with regard their views on this post that have a different angle than you. Nothing offensive or 'sadistic' in what I have discussed.
Why would i converse with you on a point that I'm not making?

I spoke on a point, you replied on topic of a completely separate point, using this to try to make my point seem small, or to humiliate me.

What's the point? It's futile.
And moot, spath?
Question Author
I wish somebody would 'moot' him Spicey.
No SpiceRack. Just futile.

The only futility here is one Homosexual man, who states he is not a practising Muslim, hopes to become the Tunisian President. His opposition candidates are against Homosexuality as is most of Tunisans by virtue of their religion.
If this was not an unusual and unprecedented story it would not of been published. Don't yuou think Spath?
A. He is openly homosexual.
B. He is a Muslim but does not practise it.
I think Tommy Robinson stands a better chance as President of Tunisia.
spath, //Retro is publicly telling me there is no point in trying, so do nothing. //

So what are you, personally, going to do? Waffle on AnswerBank about global societies? How will that help him?
Because it starts a general consensus that there is support for this man in Tunisia. This may be heard or even seen by potential Tunisians, which could help them break away from their society 'norms' and become more accepting.

Some people may secretly be in support of gay people, but worried what friends and families may say or do. If they realised some friends and family did support the gay movement, it may influence them to get involved.
You know.. exactly how it happened in the west -.- It wasn't always accepted you know? Until people started accepting it.

A movement has to start somewhere. It then moves.
spath, Not sure what a 'potential' Tunisian is - someone turning up in a boat on a Tunisian beach and claiming asylum perhaps? ... but well done for leading the charge. I shall watch your progress with interest.
What a moot answer. Thank you for the opportunity to explain the change you could be, though.
spath, So many moot answers according to you ..... but you're mistaken. I've no aspiration to be the change because I know attempts would be futile.

The west left the stoneage millions of years ago and the doctrines of the Bible and Christianity were also shelved. Eye for an eye, a man laying with another etc etc.
Islam still adheres to the Quran as they demonstrate quite often in the UK. How to beat or chastise your wife. Wife walks behind husband, female attire, chaperones. No music,no dancing etc etc.

"I've no aspiration to be the change because I know attempts would be futile."

In the UK... that's what they thought in 1967 i'm sure.

Pathetic mentality.
